Career Everywhere

The Career Development Center (CDC) aims to build a university-wide career readiness culture that prepares all students for success after graduation. This vision is supported by the concept of “Career Everywhere,” which integrates career readiness into every aspect of the student experience.

“Career Everywhere” addresses the fact that while career success is a top motivator for many students, not all students have equal access to career planning knowledge. It ensures that students from all backgrounds receive guidance and resources throughout their career journey.

“Career Everywhere” also recognizes that students seek career advice from many sources beyond the CDC, including professors, advisors, coaches, and peers. Therefore, we strive to equip all members of the university community with the knowledge and tools to provide consistent and meaningful career readiness support.

The Career Center leads this effort by collaborating with campus partners, sharing best practices, identifying resources, and curating content for various settings (classrooms, advising, and professional development), ultimately enhancing access to career planning for every student.
