Professional Headshot Booth – Due to strong student demand, CDC is adding a headshot booth for students and alumni (faculty and staff can use it too!) to have easy access to taking and editing headshots for LinkedIn. Stop by MHC 123 (St. Paul campus) in August to try it out or look for more details on scheduling an appointment for fall semester.
Virtual Practice Interviews – CDC will be adding a platform for students to get AI-based feedback on interview answers as well as non-verbal tendencies.. Students can pick sets of interview questions on specific topics or for industries. The system will be ready for students and alumni by the beginning of September.
Virtual Reality Workplace Skills Practice – Partnering with STELAR, CDC is piloting a virtual reality system to support students developing: networking skills, interview confidence and workplace readiness. Students can checkout VR headsets to use in the CDC office.
