My name is Stefani Weimholt and I am a Data Visualization Analyst. The main goal of it is to take data and make it usable. So either putting it into a chart or layering it with other data, making it usable to draw insights and then ultimately make recommendations. It usually starts with strategy, this is what we wanna do, this is the type of tests we wanna run, and then from there let's run the test. Let's gather data and then this is kind of the start of where my part of the project comes in is once we have the data, what format does it need to be in so that it's useful? From there, once I have a useful data set, pulling it into, I use Tablo, making the charts and the graphs and the metric set the end user wants to look at. And then from there, it gets handed off to someone who does the analytics and insights. Step one, receive the data. Step two is usually, what are the columns? What is the format of it? Is there any format changes that we need? And then this is also the point where many times we're not just receiving one main data file. We're receiving maybe two or three and so kind of walking through the logic of which data sources, which parts of them do we need, and how do we need to connect them all. Step three, data engineering mashes the data sets together, does their programming magic and then step four, data comes to me, I build the report. Step five, I hand it off to my manager for review. She gives me some areas to fix or update, make easier. From there, it's a bit of an iterative process of me making edits, her giving feedback until we are happy with it and then from there, I hand it off to whoever is gonna use the report or make the analysis.
