FIRST MEETING: Thursday, September 22nd at 12PM in the Anderson Student Center room 236
The purpose of this club is to gather people who share a passion for photography. We aim to create a community of photographers who are interested, to create a learning and social community around photography. The goal is to create an inclusive community for photographers of all skill levels to learn and admire each other work. We are working to advance the common good by enriching students lives with cultural creativity.
Normal meeting structure is an every other week setup for what the meeting will be about:
– One week will be a day where members share a photo they have taken.
– This allows members to see and get inspired by other photographers work.
– This also allows members to get constructive criticism and tip on how to improve their photography skills in a safe space. Our goal is to help you get better.
– The next week will be one of the following
– Have a lesson taught by a club member about a variety of topics including editing, shooting techniques, tips on specific types of photographs, etc… We take suggestions so what every you want to learn about we will find someone to teach it.
– Guest speaker
– Informal day where the executive board is hanging out in the regular meeting room and can answer any of your questions (about photography, life, anything really)
