The Muslim Law Students Association:
– articulates and promotes the professional needs and goals of Muslim law students;
– fosters and encourages professional competence;
– focuses on the relationship between Muslim law students and Muslim attorneys practicing law;
– instills in the Muslim attorney and law student a greater awareness and commitment to the needs of the Muslim community;
– influences the legal community to bring out meaningful change to meet the needs of the Muslim community:
– encourages Muslim law students to pursue careers in the judiciary; and
– facilitates the cultural, religious, academic and professional development of its members through innovative programming.
