MN8’s mission is keeping Southeast Asian communities together through direct support, advocacy, community organizing, and leadership development for social and systemic change.
We use leadership development as part of our 4 building blocks for liberation by:
- Building up the leadership of impacted community members to share their story and advocate for change
- Hosting meetings with elected officials and impacted folks to share the impact of detention and deportation
- Supporting our members as they bloom in our leadership garden
- Offering ReGENerate, our summer youth program focused on leadership development and storytelling
