Campus Race to Zero Waste

The Campus Race to Zero Waste, formerly known as Recyclemania, is a nation-wide competition between colleges and universities to reduce their waste. The competition is being held January 30 – March 26, 2022. Join us for weekly events during the competition! Each event is based around one of the 7 R’s of waste: refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, replant, recycle, and rot. St. Thomas’ participation in the Campus Race to Zero Waste is hosted by Facilities Management’s Waste and Recovery team in partnership with the Office of Sustainability Intitiatives.
