Business Undergraduate Mentorship Program (BUMP)
BUMP is a peer-to-peer mentorship program for undergraduate business students. BUMP Peer Mentors develop relationships with first and/or sophomore year students who intend to major in business and provide insight into navigating Opus College of Business, St. Thomas, and the larger business community. BUMP is led by a staff advisor and student Executive Board, peer mentors who also work to create and implement monthly BUMP group events and provide support to other mentors. BUMP mentors and mentees gather once a month to explore academic and career development topics including major selection, networking, resumes, LinkedIn, and interviewing. Alumni and employers often attend and contribute to learning at monthly meetings. Mentors and mentees also meet one-on-one and in small groups outside of our monthly meetings.
Apply to be a BUMP mentee for the 2023-2024 academic year here.
Joining BUMP is an opportunity to:
- Form relationships with upper-class students in the Opus College of Business
- Form relationships with peers who are also interested in business and in engaging in mentorship
- Improve professional skills
- Build your peer and professional network
- Maximize your academic, co-curricular, and personal potential
