Job Overview
Looking for an energetic, dependable Cheer & Dance Instructor to teach fun enrichment classes for children ages 2 years to 12 years at preschools and elementary schools.
This is a part-time position teaching at schools throughout Broward County and occasionally Boca Raton. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach beginner cheerleading, dance, and movement activities.
- Prepare students for an end-of-session performance.
- Arrive on time and communicate professionally with school staff and parents.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be able to pass a Level II fingerprint background screening.
Schedule & Pay
Example Schedule:
- Monday – 10AM and 3PM
- Tuesday – 3:30 PM
- Wednesday – 2PM
- The final schedule will be confirmed by late-August.
- $30–$40 per hour, depending on the school location.
Just an FYI. A school requires a background screening and ID badge, which costs about $100. If you decide to move forward, you would pay for it upfront, and after you’ve successfully completed your first 3 weeks of classes, I’ll reimburse you the $100 and give you an additional $50 bonus as a thank-you for your commitment.
