Job Title: Engagement and Culture Intern (Unpaid)

Department: Human Resources

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 Months, 5 Hours a Week (Exceptions for Midterms and Finals)

Compensation: Unpaid / Academic Credit Available

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Engagement and Culture intern, you will track engagement of each member of the organization by building reports and reaching out for routine check-ins. You will host coaching meetings to help team members improve their performance and identify challenges. You will help uphold a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold coaching meetings and engagement check-ins
  • Maintain a positive organizational culture
  • Help ensure team members have the resources they need to perform their best
  • Mediate meetings between team leads and team members
  • Help create training videos that explain the organization’s engagement standards using Canva and Google Vid

Qualifications

  • Majoring in or interested in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Management/Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Business Management, Labor or Legal Studies, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Writing, English, Literature, Public Relations, Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Hospitality Management, Public Administration, Digital Communications, Media, Film, Graphic Design
  • Professional and positive oral and written communication
  • Familiar with Canva or Google Vids
