Freelance Youth Sports Photographer – Seasonal Assignments
New England Sports Photo is seeking experienced freelance photographers for seasonal youth-sports Picture Day assignments, with seasonal work available September-November and April-June. Pay is $22-$27 per hour based on experience.
This independent-contractor role is for photographers with their own approved professional equipment, reliable transportation, and experience with portrait, event, school, sports, or volume photography. Assignments include photographing individual athletes and teams, using appropriate camera and flash settings, traveling to youth-sports locations, working professionally with families and leagues, and following NESP’s structured Picture Day process.
Applicants should be comfortable with shutter speed, aperture, ISO, flash, early weekend assignments, and working with children and families. Expected equipment includes an approved camera body, external speedlight, appropriate portrait zoom, and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment.
