We are a commercial concrete construction company looking for a full-time Project Engineer for our Northern California office. We engineer our own shoring and reshoring and actively support team members to obtain their professional engineering licenses.
Responsibilities:
Promote a professional image of the company, coordinate and execute all tasks with the main objective of supporting our field operations, engineering, management, and all other related tasks, including but not limited to:
- Concrete formwork engineering and design
- Develop formwork fabrication drawings
- Production of concrete outline drawings
- Perform design calculations
- Quality control during construction
- Assist project managers and field team members in day-to-day tasks
- Create and manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing changes
- Collaborate with trade partners and support BIM coordination
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work independently and assimilate into a team environment
- Proactive planning and organizational skills
- Professional appearance with well-developed interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
- Understanding of reading construction drawings is desired
- Proficient user of computers
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project is desired
- Experience or familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD is desired
- FE certification is desired
- Ability to speak Spanish would be a plus, but is not required
