  • Execute high-volume design requests with speed and accuracy across presentation and other deliverables

Template & Asset Application

  • Apply existing templates, icon libraries, and layout systems to ensure consistency across deliverables
  • Select and use pre-approved assets (icons, images, layouts) based on project needs
  • Maintain accuracy and alignment with visual guidelines across all outputs

Working approach & expectations

  • Work within defined design systems and workflows to maximize efficiency
  • Leverage existing tools, templates, and automation to streamline production
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent output and fast turnaround times
  • Identify incremental improvements to workflows, but not responsible for defining new systems

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional, mid-level graphic design experience in a corporate, research-focused, or editorial environment, with a proven track record of successful freelance or contract engagements.
  • Visual Excellence: A strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of typography, layout, color theory, and professional design principles.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Office M365: Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
    • Adobe Creative Cloud: Professional proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Express.
  • Autonomous Project Management: Proven ability to manage a high-volume pipeline of freelance deliverables, meet strict deadlines independently, and accurately estimate project hours.
  • Communication: Clear, professional English communication skills; comfortable providing and receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative environment.

Strongly Preferred

  • AI Tooling Literacy: Familiarity with leveraging approved AI tools for internal workflow efficiency, organization, or asset categorization.
  • Subject Matter Interest: Experience working with information security topics or a demonstrated desire to learn the field.
  • Accessibility Guidelines: A solid understanding of the fundamentals of digital accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG, color contrast standards, and designing for screen readers) to ensure inclusive design practices across reports and presentations.

Nice to Have

  • Motion Design: Proficiency in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Web & Responsive Design: Fundamental understanding of web design principles, including responsive layouts and mobile-first design.
  • SEO Awareness: Familiarity with SEO best practices for visual content (e.g., image optimization, alt-text strategy, and file-naming conventions).
