LMSW Social Worker

Location: Dodge City, KS with required travel to surrounding counties

$5,000 Hiring BONUS

Arrowhead West, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to support infants/toddlers and their families in both home and community-based settings. This fulltime position has a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and Implementation of individualized serviced for children and their families enrolled in Infant Toddler Services (ITS)
  • Provides developmental supports for eligible children from birth to age 3 in the family’s natural environment and daily routines by using a primary coaching model
  • Serves as a Family Service Coordinator (FSC) for assigned families
  • As part of a multi-disciplinary team, assists families in identifying available services needed and referral process
  • Conducts developmental, hearing, vision, and nutrition screenings for infants/toddlers
  • Conducts evaluations and ongoing assessment in all areas of development for children enrolled in ITS
  • Maintains case files and serves on case record review committee

Requirements:

  • Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) in the state of Kansas
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and delays
  • One year Early Childhood Education Experience Preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Salary is determined by the Special Education Cooperative’s salary schedule and will vary with education and experience
